Professor Yi Ma, Director of CDS, remarked, "Today's competition showcased the creativity and problem-solving abilities of our talented university students. At HKU, we are committed to nurturing innovation and fostering partnerships with industry to advance the development of the insurance sector locally and globally."

After a round of deliberations, the Champion title went to AIServ, a team of students from the HKU and HKUST for their proposal, "CYBERGUARD AI+". The winning team's innovative approach impressed the judges with its creativity, feasibility, and potential impact on the insurance industry. The team will advance to the global finals hosted by Nanyang Technological University (NTU), joining peers from Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Switzerland, and other countries.
Congratulating the finalists, Ms Candy Au Yeung said, "The contestants' spirit of innovation indicates a brighter, smarter future where work will be more meaningful, business will be more efficient, and the overall health experience will be better for everyone."
